JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for a TS/SCI Software Engineer to join a federal client in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Determining operational feasibility of various software through testing and validation
- Developing and implementing solutions in accordance with Air Force specifications
- Licensing and purchasing software in accordance with the DOD Acquisition Lifecycle and Air Force specification
- Write and review deliverables and requirements to be distributed to the field
- This role is not a true developer role but will rely on past development experience for code review and the drafting of future requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- TS/SCI Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Related Field
- 3-4 years of experience directly in software development/engineering
- Experience in multiple programming languages including but not limited to Python, Java and C languages
- Experience in containerization tools including but not limited to Docker and Kubernetes
- Comfortable working with a Linux operating system
- Familiarity with radio frequency
