Scope:
• Supports day-to-day Data Center activities: escorts field engineers, parts shipping/receiving management, etc.
• Engage with Dell/Partner Support for break/fix activities:
o Customer notifies resident of server issue. Resident opens SR, works with support to resolve issue. Captures logs, follows recommended troubleshooting from support, escorts any dispatched field engineer, etc.
• Performs firmware, code, BIOS lifecycle management. Works at the direction of the customer team to update versions as needed.
• Maintains documentation of the environment: serial numbers, elevations, runbooks, etc.
• Coordinates with colo staff for any maintenance activities: power maintenance, cooling maintenance, containment wall maintenance, etc.
