Who we are looking for:
You'll be an integral part of our team, with opportunities to expand your technical expertise and take on greater project responsibilities. We're seeking someone who is dynamic and eager to grow. While technical skills can be developed, we're particularly looking for a strong communicator who is motivated to embrace coaching and professional development.
A Typical Day:
- Actively collaborating with architects, contractors, and other design team members to resolve challenges and ensure a successful project outcome for the owner.
- Developing detailed project plans
- Producing structural drawings and comprehensive calculation packages.
- Creating and refining structural models using advanced design software such as Revit, Risa and others.
- Collaborating with project teams to strategize for sustainable and efficient design solutions.
- Conduct site visits and prepare thorough observation reports.
- Engaging in office training sessions focused on effective communication, project management, or other relevant topics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering.
- A Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering is highly preferred.
- Approximately four (4) years of experience in structural engineering.
- A Nevada PE license (or the ability to obtain one within six months) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
