Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP is a law firm offering governmental agencies, private entities and financial institutions exceptional legal service and sophisticated counsel in public finance and infrastructure transactions.
We are seeking a project manager to support our nationally-recognized practice. This position is located in our Ann Arbor or San Francisco office.
The project manager works directly with the Firm’s attorneys throughout the lifecycle of a financing transaction to facilitate a successful closing. Such work includes assisting with or conducting project diligence, reviewing and drafting documents and/or closing certificates, and coordinating and/or assembling project closing documents. Other responsibilities include: legal research, preparing government filings, performing certain financial calculations, monitoring news outlets, drafting proposals to prospective clients, preparing billing invoices and coordinating meetings.
Qualifications:
· Three years transactional paralegal or title company closer experience (preferably some real estate, financial transactions and/or general corporate work).
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Strong interpersonal, written (grammar, spelling, format) and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
· Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the firm.
· Demonstrated team-oriented work style.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Educational Requirements:
BS/BA Degree
The anticipated base salary range for this full-time role is $65,000 to $90,000 per year. Actual salary will depend upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, job-related skills, and qualifications.
