Candidate Requirements:
AWB Engineers, a multi-discipline architectural and engineering design firm, is seeking a full-time, licensed, Civil Engineer to join our team in Salisbury, MD. Candidates must possess a BS degree or higher in Engineering and professional licensing and be proficient in the use of AutoCAD, HydroCAD, and other related civil design programs. The ability to gather pertinent information to effectively communicate this information to associates and the ability and enthusiasm to be involved in setting goals and to impart this enthusiasm and leadership to others involved in the civil engineering work of the company is a must.
Experience:
Prior experience in civil design and detailing is required, with a minimum of five years of experience preferred. Surveying experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of all phases of professional design services, from Schematic Design through Construction Administration
- Prepare contracts and proposals
- Evaluate program requirements
- Develop designs and related construction documents
- Collaborate with other design team members
- Complete quality control reviews of documents
- Interact with clients, contractors and regulatory officials
- Review shop drawings and submittals
- Supervise Staff Architects and drafting technicians
- Perform other project management-related tasks
