**Position:** Assistant Superintendent
**Experience Required:** 2-3 Years in Construction (Ground-Up K-12 Projects)
**Job Summary:**
-We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent with at least 2-3 years of experience in the construction field, Must have experience on ground-up K-12 projects, and knowledge in multiple trades. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure smooth project operations, maintain quality standards, and enforce safety guidelines on the job site. This role requires a proactive approach, a positive attitude, and a commitment to continuous learning.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
- Report directly to the Superintendent overseeing your project.
- Interpret and understand plans and specifications.
- Assist the Superintendent with various project responsibilities.
- Manage project start-up and mobilization.
- Draft and manage Requests for Information (RFI).
- Post and update all project drawings.
- Maintain accurate As-Built documentation.
- Assist in scheduling project tasks and milestones.
- Organize and direct subcontractors on site.
- Ensure the job site remains clean, organized, and safe.
- Oversee quality control to meet project standards.
- Organize and maintain files, plans, and shop drawings.
- Oversee the completion of the punch list.
- Follow and enforce all safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Assist the Superintendent with daily reports and documentation.
- Participate in Owner, Architect, and Contractor (O.A.C.) meetings.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Superintendent.
