Job title: IT Security Specialist
Location: 100% onsite (may have hybrid flex after training) MUST SIT IN OR NEAR Chicago, IL OR Washington, D.C. OR Denver, CO!
Type: Contract
Contract length: 6+ months- potential to be brought on full time and have contract extended up to 18+ months
Interview process: 1-2 rounds of virtual IV's
Citizenship: USC/GC candidates only (no c2c or c2h for w2 purposes)
Screenings: Background and tech (glider) once hired
Pay: Exactly $61.27- no flex.
Start date: 3-4 weeks from offer

Required Skills and Experience:
• Background supporting Information Security policy, including Laws, Rules and Regulations in a regulated environment
• Have an ability to analyze and interpret, applicable laws, rules, and regulations and align to policies.
• The ability to analyze and interpret data and trends and use insights gathered to inform and communicate statistical analysis results and/or predictions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a an ability to communicate and interface with senior leaders and technically minded SMEs in a IT based Policy Governance Lifecycle
• Ability to deep-dive and deconstruct complicated process to identify and validate adherence to LRRs and Policy
• The ability to provide legal and regulatory guidance in connection with firm policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• The ability to identify, understand and prioritize the needs of internal, external, prospective and existing customers in order to provide solutions, resolve problems, and address questions.
• The ability to draw upon past knowledge and experiences to find a solution and define a path of action.
About the role:
Working in a contract position, the right candidate will be responsible for applying prior Cyber Security and/or Technology Infrastructure knowledge, and an understanding of law, rules and regulations (LRRs) to support the Bank of America Policy Governance Lifecycle.
Prior experience supporting information security or technology-related policies in a regulated environment is a must.
Will be expected to quickly prioritize work and execute defined processes, identify adherence controls to policy and identify gaps in coverage, and, help manage risk reduction in a policy governance lifecycle.
This person may also be called up to assist in the alignment of regulations, processes, and controls to policy, to support ongoing adherence monitoring governance activities. In this role, the right person will be expected to partner with internal stakeholders and leaders, analyze and convey complex data, and develop and report on progress against assigned tasks.
