Job Responsibilities:
- Strategic Infrastructure Development: Lead initiatives to design and enhance data pipelines, ensuring they support the organization's strategic goals and scalability needs.
- Collaborative Innovation: Work with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business objectives, driving innovation and efficiency in data utilization.
- Data Strategy Optimization: Develop strategies to optimize data storage and retrieval, enhancing operational efficiency and supporting long-term scalability.
- Governance and Security Leadership: Advocate for data integrity and security by implementing robust governance frameworks and ensuring compliance across all platforms.
- Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Contribute to a culture of technical excellence by participating in code reviews, providing strategic feedback, and mentoring team members.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, driving continuous improvement and innovation in data engineering practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience in Supply Chain.
- Proven experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on cloud and ETL tools.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with source control methods such as Git.
- Experience with AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or Azure.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language used for predictive modeling/analytics (Python or R).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A demonstrated passion for continuous learning and technical growth.
- Understanding of predictive modeling techniques.
- Experience in Supply Chain.
