Position Overview:
As an IT Manager, you will lead a team of IT professionals, manage the implementation of IT solutions, and ensure robust system security. You should have 5+ years of IT management experience, strong SQL skills, and be a clear communicator with a great sense of humor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of IT specialists.
- IT Solutions: Oversee the implementation and configuration of IT systems, including servers, security tools, and applications.
- SQL Analysis: Develop complex SQL queries to analyze and manipulate large datasets.
- System Maintenance: Manage systems such as Linux, Varonis, VMware, and Microsoft 365.
- Security: Ensure system security using tools like Sophos and Varonis.
- Communication: Engage effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- 5+ years in IT management and 6+ years as an Individual Contributor.
- Proven experience with IT solutions across various systems.
Technical Skills:
- SQL analysis, knowledge of O365, Active Directory, and HCSS.
- Experience with backup/recovery procedures and system performance monitoring.
- Personality: 10/10! Engaging, clear communicator with a sense of humor.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the Construction/Civil Engineering industry.
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies.
Technical Experience:
- Help Desk: Spiceworks.
- Systems: Linux, Varonis, VMware, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, etc.
- Security: Sophos, Firewalls, Meraki.
- Hardware: Aruba Switches, Dell servers, Synology.
