About the Role
We are seeking an Applied AI Researcher with deep expertise in Generative AI to drive the development and implementation of AI applications across our mental and behavioral health brands. Reporting directly to the head of engineering, you will spearhead our efforts to transform both patient and provider experiences through innovative technology. This role is essential in shaping the future of healthcare services by leveraging AI to enhance outcomes and optimize operations. As a leading member of our tech team, you will work closely with cross-functional groups, ensuring AI integrations elevate our portfolio across various brands.
Responsibilities
- Lead rigorous research initiatives to develop AI models tailored for enhancing our behavioral health platforms and operational workflows.
- Develop and implement AI strategies and frameworks that align with the company’s mission to enhance operational efficiency and care delivery.
- Explore and assess AI technologies and methodologies to advance our platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and clinical teams to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows and new product offerings.
- Leverage data analytics to drive AI development decisions and optimize algorithms.
- Support and lead a team of AI developers and researchers, cultivating a culture of innovation.
- Prepare and present updates on AI projects to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in AI research & development, including experience with machine learning and large-scale data systems.
- Expertise in AI frameworks and tools, programming languages (such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch), and data analytics.
- Proven track record of developing and deploying AI technologies in a healthcare or technology-driven environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring technical teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $200,000 - $220,000. Total compensation for this position may also include stock options. Note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors.
