Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Oversee the engineering department, managing and mentoring a team of engineers to foster a high-performance culture.
- Strategic Development: Develop and implement engineering strategies, goals, and objectives to drive the company's vision forward.
- Project Oversight: Lead the design, development, and testing of engineering projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with business goals.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets for engineering projects and resources, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Experience: Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or someone who is looking for the next step.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of deploying standard products to meet a specialized application.
- Financial Acumen: Experience with budgeting and meeting costing goals and outcomes.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and emotional intelligence (EQ) skills.
