Compensation: $42-$50/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience working within a plant/manufacturing environment setting (preferably automotive)
- Strong experience using AutoCAD – specifically with creating plant floor layouts, material layouts, etc.
- Experience in conducting time and motion studies (STDS)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, continuous improvement, cost optimization, and material flow principles
Plusses
- Master’s degree in industrial engineering or related field
- Experience with GMOS
- Familiarity with automation principles and technologies
- Previous exposure to large-scale material optimization projects
- Strong project management skills

The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for working closely with the manufacturing team to optimize our production processes, ensure product quality, and reduce costs. This person will be heavily working with AutoCAD and creating plant floor/material layouts, as well as conducting time and motion studies. The ideal candidate will have experience within the automotive industry, experience with industrial engineering, and a passion for driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and can adapt quickly to changing conditions.
Job Responsibilities
- Study and validate material routes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Review time savings for automation projects and ensure alignment with project goals
- Work closely with the planning team to integrate material optimization strategies into overall production plans
- Collaborate with plant Industrial Engineering teams to gather insights and ensure effective implementation of optimization initiatives
- Support execution teams by providing industrial engineering expertise and addressing challenges during project implementation
