Clayton Services is searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer (HVACR) to join a thriving company in North Houston. The Mechanical Design Engineer (HVACR) will be responsible for developing new electrical systems for industrial equipment. The Mechanical Design Engineer (HVACR) will be responsible for developing system specifications and layouts.
Mechanical Design Engineer (HVACR) Responsibilities:
- Selecting components and completing cost analyses of new equipment
- Test electrical systems and make adjustments as needed
- Provide support throughout the manufacturing of the electrical and mechanical systems
- Utilize CAD to design and perfect new electrical systems
- Design prototypes, troubleshoot potential issues, make changes to fix any issues, and create specifications and other details for the systems
- Writing programs for various control systems
- Document specifications, schematics, and diagrams regarding projects
- Produce reports addressing project progress and other details for managerial staff
- Assist in the production of electrical systems in the manufacturing of industrial equipment
