Role:
The Controls & Lighting Coordinator will represent the Meglio controls team internally and externally and be responsible for many technical support tasks. The right candidate will maintain a streamlined effective approach to internal process and project delivery. This role will triage and manage the day-to-day design and documentation of intelligent building solutions from old-school to futuristic (and everything in between), utilizing a diverse portfolio of industry-leading manufacturers such as Signify's Genlyte (formerly Philips), Crestron, Leviton, Ubicquia, Avi-on, Steinel, Vari-Lite, Acolyte, PLC Multipoint, and more.
This role is based out of our St. Louis (Chesterfield) office, and daily proximity to St. Louis is required.
Responsibilities:
The Controls & Lighting Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Leading the workflow and admin efforts of a streamlined technical team in order to deliver consistent and effective solutions to all clients
- Project managing multiple complex building projects simultaneously
- Learning and supporting the basics of electrical building control system design and related branch circuit electrical design
- Supporting the project management and workflow between controls, lighting, and other internal and external technical teams
- On-site and remote system start-up and commissioning support
- Engaging in provided training from top manufacturers
- Troubleshooting design and technical details with in-house team members and clients, including electrical engineers, lighting designers, and contractors across all phases of construction
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years' experience providing customer service and/or project management in a dynamic technical capacity
- Ability to effectively communicate technical detail between Earthlings and Martians
- Experience navigating construction documents or related technical documentation is preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- A knack for turning complex problems into fun challenges while under a deadline
