Automation Controls Engineer

$55-62/hour
The Automation Controls Engineer will become an active member of a team
applying advanced manufacturing technologies to produce medical devices.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of complex
automated assembly lines, packaging systems and testing systems. You
will develop hands-on expertise in testing, troubleshooting and improving
the installation, start-up and operation of these manufacturing systems.
Automation Controls Engineer Responsibilities:
• Programming and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLC’s, Fanuc robots,
Machine Vision, and Panel View HMI’s
• Implement advanced automated solutions to improve medical device
manufacturing processes
• Develop detailed requirements and Validation Protocols
• Build proof of concept and prototypes
• Collaborate with engineers to achieve expected quality levels in
products.
• Conduct Software Validations following GAMP 5
• Participate in and lead code reviews
• Ensure compliance of quality processes and standards
• Identify issues and risks and develop mitigation plans with the cross
functional team to resolve project setbacks and obstacles
Automation Controls Engineer Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering,
or related discipline required
• Prefer experience with Alan Bradley PLC and HMI Programing and
Troubleshooting, Fanuc Robotics Programing, Cognex and Keyence
machine Vision Programing, GAMP 5 Software Validation
