Position: Tailor
Department/Function: Retail / Store Operations
Reports to: Operations Manager/General Manager/Store Director
Job Summary/Purpose:
The Tailor is a professional of the tailoring and ensures, on the basis of the indications received, the correct and accurate realization of repairs. Contributes to the success of the sales realizing complex and extremely precise interventions, relying on his/her high level of craftsmanship, knowledge and experience of materials and tailoring techniques.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Intervenes on the product, always guaranteeing respect of the original style
- Ensures to identify the proper work methodology
- Ensures to carry out the repairs within the timing foreseen
- Ensures correct and timely cloth repairs
- Supervises, along with the Sales Assistant, the customer fitting
- Ensures, through the Operations Manager, the procurement of all the material necessary for tailoring and the maintenance of all tailoring tools
- Manages, through the Operations Manager, product handling between the Store and all external service providers (laundry, furriers, knitwear factories, external tailor labs, etc.)
- Flexible scheduling to the needs of the business
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work shift standing or walking
