We are seeking a Product Development Engineer to work together with engineering and manufacturing team to specify the components needed for each project and create corresponding drawing of the components and final assembly of the product.
PVHardware is a provider of innovative solar tracking solutions for the global utility-scale solar market, including trackers, fixed structures and SCADA system. Yet, we are the third largest solar tracker supplier in the world and aiming to be the leader in the industry!
Key Responsibilities:
- Create Bill of Materials (BOM) of project
- Create 3D and 2D SolidWorks models and drawings to be used to support manufacturing
- Communicate with engineering and manufacturing personnel throughout the production process
- Support engineering change orders (ECO) and manage BOM revisions
Requirements:
- BS degree in Structural/Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 4+ years in a similar position, preparing estimates or in solar world is an asset.
- Must be well experienced in SolidWorks, Auto-CAD.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience in solar or the renewable energy sector is a plus.
Other Requirements:
- Organized with strong time management skills.
- Must be able to follow multiple tasks at once.
- Must have a strong drive to earn business through an all-means-necessary mindset related to customer support.
