We're seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for web-based development projects. In this role, you'll combine your deep technical expertise in frontend development with strong leadership skills to drive complex projects and mentor junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical direction of a mid level software development team
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance software systems
- Mentor and coach junior engineers to accelerate their growth
- Collaborate with product managers to define technical strategy and roadmaps
- Drive architectural decisions and champion best practices
- Monitor the health of web pages, work cross-functionally with partner teams
Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, focusing on frontend development
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and mentoring engineers
- Expert-level proficiency in Java, Javascript, Typescript, NextJS, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
