Our Riyadh-based scale-up is looking for a CTO. In this role, you will lead a growing geo-distributed software organization and guide the software team through the design and development of our current and future products. [This role requires relocation to Riyadh]
You are comfortable taking action in an environment where complete information is unavailable and can help your team deliver well-architected products that maintain high quality. Experience coordinating many moving parts to meet tight deadlines and having contingency plans ready when priorities shift is a must-have.
We are seeking an engineering leader who has the following:
- 15+ years of experience building technical software products, with at least 5 of those years as a manager of an engineering team of 80+.
- A history of scaling tech teams and products with a passion for mentoring your direct reports in technical achievement and career growth.
- Extensive knowledge of software development, IT infrastructure, and technology operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Experience with modernizing technology stacks and implementing best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
