Job Title: Systems Administrator
Duration: 6 months (contract to hire)
Location: 813 D street Anchorage, Ak 99501
Job Summary:
The System Administrator will be responsible for supporting the IT Manager and providing information technology systems support and assistance to resolve issues within the organization.

Specific Duties
Maintain operating efficiency and stability, ensuring the security of the company’s cloud-based applications, core production server systems, and information systems infrastructure.
Monitor enterprise systems health and address any unusual or suspicious activity.
Maintain user accounts in Active Directory and for “cloud” services.
Assist with new feature launches ensuring compatibility with current IT infrastructure and endpoints
Assist with Microsoft Windows group policy maintenance.
Assists in maintaining standard system images and initially configuring and deploying new computers to end users.
Assists remote users in a mobile computing (iPhones, iPads, and mobile device management system) environment.
Conduct end-user education and training on new or updates to existing Enterprise applications.
Collaborates with IT Manager to explain errors and/or recommend modifications to systems and networks.
Provides user and desktop (Windows and MacOS) support for the company. Assists remote field employees or locations as required.
Collaborates with other company staff to research and resolve problems.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
Education Substitution
High school diploma plus 5 years of directly related experience in a similarly complex IT position.
Certifications
Valid Alaska Driver’s License; possession of functional, insured vehicle.
