Job Title: Electronics Technician
Location: Tulsa, OK (Onsite)
Overview:
The Electronics Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of electronic products. This position, based onsite in Tulsa, OK, involves testing, troubleshooting, and repairing circuit boards, component assemblies, wire harnesses, and systems within an electronics manufacturing environment. The technician will also be responsible for making production tooling changes on various automated equipment, building and modifying production test fixtures, and assisting with technical service calls as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair circuit boards, component assemblies, wire harnesses, and systems.
- Perform production tooling changes on automated production equipment.
- Build and modify production test fixtures for various assemblies.
- Assist with technical service calls as required.
- Read and interpret schematics, wire diagrams, assembly drawings, and bills of materials.
- Utilize oscilloscopes and multimeters for testing and diagnostics.
- Solder PC boards (both SMT and Thru-Hole).
- Develop and follow test procedures.
- Apply knowledge of Ohm’s Law, AC & DC theory, and electronics theory in daily tasks.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude in daily tasks.
Skills/Requirements:
- Positive attitude, desire to learn, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, wire diagrams, assembly drawings, and bills of materials.
- Skilled in using oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Experience in PC board soldering (both SMT and Thru-Hole).
- Strong understanding of Ohm’s Law, AC & DC theory, and electronics theory.
- Ability to read and write test procedures.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
Qualifications:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Electronics Technician.
