The Maintenance Operations Representative is responsible for developing and coordinating plant maintenance programs for all in-house service centers within the NA Plant network, contributing to an improvement in performance metrics (PR, MTBF, UPDT) and a reduction in maintenance budgetary spend. The Maintenance Operations Representative will liaise, coach and influence our 3rd party management groups in correct techniques to ensure the current and future automation equipment is efficient and maintained in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. This role will act as a subject matter expert and cover hands on training, coaching, mentoring and auditing of current installations.
The Maintenance Operations Representative will effectively use data and root cause analysis techniques to drive continuous improvements across the US plant network. As well, this role will ensure strong technical systems processes and programs are established, in both in-house and 3rd party management groups, to ensure ongoing excellence without deterioration.
Maintenance activities must ensure that employee health and safety, product safety, and the protection of the environment are never compromised, and that all maintenance activities enhance product quality, plant performance and business priorities.

Major/Key Accountabilities
- Subject matter expert responsible for hands on coaching and mentoring of maintenance operations - troubleshooting and repair of all plant pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric systems including Programable Logic Control (PLC) systems, machine network devices (EthernetIP Network) and advanced safety systems. This includes, but is not limited to conveyers, pallet handling automation (including robots and vision systems), automated dismantling/renailing, painting and stencilling systems.
- Participate in machine process and design improvement forums, documenting Lessons Learned.
- Assist L&D function with training of service center personnel on equipment optimization processes.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis of re-occurring challenges.
- And any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to instruct advanced technical skillsets
- Mechanically inclined – Knowledge of and demonstrable ability to use common mechanics tools.
- Advanced skills in reading and training mechanical and electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
- Ability to use and train the use of electrical test equipment for troubleshooting.
- Understanding of and ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial pneumatic and hydraulic system components, such as pumps, valves, cylinders, motors and solenoids.
- Understanding of and ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical system components such as motors, variable AC drives, PLCs, field sensors and advanced safety devices.
- Willing to travel up to 60% of the time
Experience
This position requires demonstrated experience in training, maintaining, repairing and optimizing plant production equipment. Specific areas of expertise include:
- 5-7 years of experience in industrial machine maintenance.
- Knowledge of HMI operation and troubleshooting.
- Proven track record of production machine maintenance and repair success.
- Proven ability to use data to drive continuous improvement optimizations.

Location: Field Based, Southeast Region - 50%+ travel, must be located near a major US airport
Base Salary Range is $81,000 - 122,00 annually
Salary ranges provided take into account a wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications, geographic differentials and other business and organizational needs. Therefore, actual amounts offered may be higher or lower than the range provided.
