Job Title: Junior Information Technology Security Analyst

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Information Technology Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in IT, with 1-2 years specifically dealing with network security or cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts to protect the organization's systems and data.
- Assist in the implementation and management of security measures to safeguard information and network systems.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and analyze potential threats to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure network configurations and respond to security breaches or incidents.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and best practices.
- Support the creation and maintenance of security documentation, including incident reports and security policies.
- Participate in security audits and compliance initiatives to ensure the organization meets regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Technology.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in network security or cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with security monitoring tools and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and other security protocols.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high-priority issues with urgency.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
