Technical Project Manager - HRIS

This position paus around $60/hr on W2.
In this role, you will be instrumental in managing projects to support adding functionality within SuccessFactors, Workforce Software and Opentext.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex technical projects, a deep understanding of HRIS systems, and excellent leadership and communication skills. As a Technical Project Manager for HRIS projects, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of HRIS solutions to support the HR department's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams to deliver HRIS solutions on time.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
- Stakeholder Management: Gather and document project requirements from stakeholders and ensure alignment with business goals. Communicate project status, progress, and changes to stakeholders regularly.
- System Implementation and Integration: Drive and support the implementation of new HRIS solutions, including system configuration, data migration, and integration with existing systems.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and data accuracy.
- Quality Assurance and Testing: Develop and execute testing plans to ensure HRIS solutions meet functional and technical requirements.
- Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies during the testing phase.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on HRIS or related systems.
- Proven experience managing complex technical projects and working with HR departments.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP), project management tools (e.g., Jira), and basic knowledge of databases and integration technologies.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and drive project success.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing project challenges.
