Insight Global is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join one of our largest Pharmaceutical clients working at their Rensselaer, NY location 5x/week onsite. This individual will be joining the Engineering team within the Engineering and Automation space working on the commissioning and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) phases of a new machine for the company. There will be 3 main phases of this role that the individual will be expected to work through. The first phase occurs prior to the machine coming onsite. During this phase, the individual will be expected to vet and ensure proper sign-off on all documentation as well as sorting through documentation for pre-approval. The second phase occurs once the machine arrives onsite. This will last around 2-3 weeks where the candidate will oversee and ensure all documentation is accurate prior to testing phase. The third and final phase is the SAT testing phase which will be 100% documentation. This individual will be expected to verify that testing is being done accurately. They will work cross functionally with multiple teams, coordinate documentation and the flow of approvals, and will overall be responsible for keeping the commissioning on track. They will be expected to travel once out to the testing site in Germany for 2 weeks to oversee the FAT testing phase (all expenses covered by the company).
