Alyssum Montessori School is a micro-school in downtown Fort Wayne, IN. We are beginning our 7th year and are looking to expand to serve students through the 8th grade for the 2025-2026 school year.
Role Description
This is a hybrid role for a Montessori Middle School Teacher Leader in Fort Wayne, IN, with flexibility for remote work. This Teacher Leader will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the creation of the middle school Montessori feeder program for the Alyssum Montessori Elementary.
Qualifications
- Montessori certification for the middle school level, preferred
- Demonstrated experience in Montessori education and leadership, preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and educational best practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to mentor and support teaching staff
- Passion for creating inclusive and engaging learning environments
