Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer - (Onsite in Jacksonville, FL- contract-to-hire)
Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the logistics/distribution industry is in need of a Senior Network Engineer. This engineer will be a well-rounded individual across networking, systems, and security and will help to lead multiple projects and initiatives across a small team.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot escalated helpdesk issues
- Upgrade different version OS and servers
- Help to standardize networking infrastructure-route, switch, firewall
- Adhere to security best practices- risk assessments, vulnerability remediation, etc.
- POC and implement new tools and technology into the environment
- Lead projects and work cross functionally among various teams within organization
