Professional Liability Assistant Vice President, New York
Angove Partners is working with a global insurance company, seeking an Professional Liability Assistant Vice President in New York.
About the role:
This opportunity is on the Professional Liability Claims team. You will learn and take on various roles to support business processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and enhancing employee engagement & development as well as fostering adjuster development
- Overseeing and improving the teams KPI’s
- Leading litigation management and reporting litigation updates to senior management
- Working with senior management to provide solutions for key issues, as well as supporting the VP in presenting claims trends reports
- Participate in the recruitment of new team members
About you:
- 5-13 years experience handling insurance claims
- A Juris Doctorate is preferred
- 5+ years experience handling claims
- 2-7 years experience with Professional Liability, preferably experience with Miscellaneous Professional Liability
- 2-7 years’ experience managing a team
- Strong management and relationship building skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
