Position: IT Application Project Manager
Location: Oakland, CA (Remote – candidates must be local to the San Francisco Bay area and able to go on-site as needed)
Experience:
- 7+ years’ experience managing one or more medium to high complexity IT Application projects required
- Must have experience managing project financials and budgets
- Experience with Physical Security, Drone Detection, Long Range Acoustic Devices (LRAD) and/or Ground Radar is a plus!
Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or equivalent experience

Job Description:
- Lead complex projects with budgets ranging from $1,000,000 to $10,000,000.
- Gather, define and document project requirements.
- Clearly communicate roles, responsibilities and expectations to the project team.
- Plan, execute and monitor all project activities to achieve goals.
- Provide leadership and direction to project management analysts and schedulers.
- Track and manage issues, risks, changes and status reports using standard tools.
- Accurately forecast project resources, materials and contract costs.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans.
- Monitor critical milestones and resolve scheduling issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, vendors and key clients.
- Ensure projects remain within cost, schedule, scope and quality objectives.
- Prepare and store all project documentation for closure and auditing.
Position Requirements:
- Cost management and tracking expertise.
- Ability to effectively drive project timelines and deliverables.
- Possess expert understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Experience with IT professional service agreements and materials logistics.
