- This is a hybrid position with 3 days in office.
- The office is located in Mays Landing, NJ.
- Core hours are 9 AM-3 PM. The schedule is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.
Overview
Our Client is looking for Senior Project Controls Scheduler to support large transmission and substation projects ($5-100 million). As a Senior Scheduler, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the scheduling activities within an organization. You will work independently with little supervision and may supervise a team of schedulers or assistants. Responsibilities may include:
- Developing and implementing scheduling policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Managing and coordinating complex schedules for individuals, teams, or projects.
- Analyzing scheduling data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Providing guidance and support to junior schedulers or assistants.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure that schedules are aligned with organizational goals and priorities.
- Communicating schedule changes and updates to relevant parties.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to understand their scheduling needs and preferences.
- Providing training and mentorship to junior schedulers or assistants.
- Leading meetings and discussions related to scheduling activities.
- Ensuring that schedules are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations and policies.
Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 7-10 years experience with developing project schedules for large projects using P6.
- Electric utility experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-sufficient; able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to adapt to the client's processes.
