Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Night shift Engineer Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on individual who is passionate about maintenance and management. Responsibilities
-· This position is responsible for supervising the maintenance responsibilities and team, including predictive maintenance, equipment repair and rebuild, electrical, and grounds equipment.
· Supervises facility maintenance activities including predictive maintenance, floor maintenance, diagnosis and repair, and emergency maintenance.
· Follows up on problems to develop solutions utilizing problem solving tools.
· Ensures that maintenance is performed to maximize available run time.
· Monitors breakdowns, determine needs, assigns resources.
· Keeps upper management informed of issues that affect the performance of the department.
· Reviews equipment to ensure all safety devices are properly installed.
· Responsible for supervising employees including skills development, safety, housekeeping, policy administration, discipline, employee relations, cost control, and problem solving.
· Adjust daily work schedule as needed to meet production requirements.
· Ensures all company, state, and federal requirements for food safety are met by maintenance employees.
· Responsible for 5S compliance in all maintenance areas.
· Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures. Must take immediate action to correct and/or report any unsafe conditions and hazards.
· Follow GMP in compliance with all food safety requirements.
· Follow all PPE policies, hearing protection, safety glasses, hair nets/beard nets, etc. as required.
· Maintain a clean and maintenance shop, parts room and office area.
· Complete all required paperwork
