We are seeking an innovative Supervisor to join our team. The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the staff and ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) drug and alcohol testing regulations, applicable state requirements and motion picture industry contracts. This includes monitoring and engaging staff to achieve maximum success and productivity, overseeing testing selections and related processes, and supporting the Associate Manager in implementing programs and procedures within the department to serve both Employers and industry professionals subject to the testing program requirements.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Oversees daily operation of the Testing Program
* Ensures compliance with government and regulatory agencies such as: DOT, FMCSA, DMV, CHP, FCRA, etc.
* Facilitates creation of and updates procedures, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies
* Structures staff workflows to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
* Engages with staff to communicate department and company goals, provide training, and assist with questions, troubleshooting, suggestions, etc.
* Reviews and approves staff time-off requests and timecards, escalating any issues to Associate Manager
* Identifies additional customer training opportunities and staff training requirements.
* Performs random drug and alcohol testing selections, in accordance with current DOT-FMCSA regulations and company policies
* Oversees follow-up testing program schedules and requirements, in compliance with current DOT-FMCSA regulations and company policies
* Compiles and reviews semi-annual and annual consortium Management Information System (MIS) reports of testing program numbers in compliance with DOT-FMCSA regulations
* Finalizes and approves -specific billing items processed by Coordinator for payment by Accounting Dept. and/or escalation to Associate Manager as needed
* Assists employers with DOT audit process
