Candidate Requirements:
AWB Engineers, a multi-discipline architectural and engineering design firm, is seeking a full-time, licensed, Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Salisbury, MD. Candidates must possess a BS degree or higher in Engineering and professional licensing and be proficient in the use of Revit, AutoCAD, Finite Element Software, and other related design development programs.
The ability to gather pertinent information to effectively communicate this information to associates and the ability and enthusiasm to be involved in setting goals and to impart this enthusiasm and leadership to others involved in the structural engineering work of the company is a must.
Experience:
Prior experience in structural design and detailing is required, with a minimum of five years of experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of all phases of professional design services, from Schematic Design through Construction Administration
- Prepare contracts and proposals
- Evaluate program requirements
- Developing designs and related construction documents
- Collaborate with other team members
- Complete quality control reviews of documents
- Interacting with clients, contractors and regulatory officials
- Reviewing shop drawings and submittals
- Supervise Staff Engineers and CAD/BIM technicians
- Performing other project management-related tasks.
