Essential Functions: As an IT Project Management , you’ll be at the forefront of driving projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless integration and execution. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and refine Project Charters and Management Plans.
- Direct and manage project execution while monitoring and controlling work.
- Perform integrated change control and successfully close projects or phases.
- Support and collect business requirements, define project scope, and create detailed Work Breakdown Structures using MS Project.
- Verify scope with business stakeholders and the technical team, control scope, and manage risks and issues.
- Define and document activities outside of the project schedule, sequence tasks, estimate resources and durations, and develop and control the project schedule.
- Estimate costs, manage project budgets, and control expenses to ensure projects are delivered on budget.
- Develop resource management plans, acquire and manage project team members, and foster team development to achieve project deliverables.
- Identify and document project sponsors and stakeholders, develop communication plans, manage stakeholder expectations, and report on performance and project status.
- Plan and identify risks, conduct qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, and develop risk responses to monitor and control potential issues.
- Plan, support, and coordinate procurement activities, administer procurement processes, and ensure successful project closure.
- Conduct and manage regular project status meetings, ensuring clear communication and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelor’s in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in Information Technology roles.
- Certification: PMP Certification preferred.
- Authorization to Work: Due to U.S. government contract requirements, applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents (Green Card holders)
