Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee Quality and Test Engineering staff
- Coach, develop, and guide operational organization
- Drive efficiency and productivity within the team
- Review and evaluate Quality and Test Engineering staff performance
- Develop strategies, objectives, and work plans and delegate to staff
- Responsible for determining, overseeing, and allocating budget, and personnel resources to deliver program targets
- Support and maintain A10 Key Initiatives and Core Values
- Responsible for Quality & Operational engineering management of Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers
- Oversee testing and analysis required for the finished product to ensure conformance to customer specifications
- Perform vendor qualification or re-qualification audits
- Drive Quality initiatives and Process improvement activities
- Continuous monitoring of key CM process performance
- Use judgment to make decisions or solve complex tasks or problems in areas of operational engineering, manufacturing, and Quality
- Create, Manage, and drive Quality programs – Corrective and Preventive Action CAPA, Deviations, CM Quality management, First Articles, MRB
- Coordinate assigned Continuous Improvement initiatives, driving both cost and process improvements
- Manage and drive cross-organizational execution of the PLM Change Management System ARENA
- Facilitate and monitor the collection and retention of field Quality data and maintain performance metrics and goals
- Responsible for driving customer quality key performance indicators (KPIs) in Deploy
- Uses complex data analysis expertise to support recommendations for allocating Service Contract inventory
- Participate in New Product Introduction activities and provide Quality Engineering input, management, and guidance
- Manage Product Life-Cycle Requirements Checklist within the NPI Team
- Engage and drive cross-functional teams to perform root-cause analysis, corrective action, and verification of implemented solutions' effectiveness for internal and external quality issues
- Engage directly with customers, sales, and operations leadership to resolve customer complaints
- Provide (MBR) monthly product Life-Cycle reliability data to Microsoft
- RMA People Manager
Additional responsibilities outside standard Quality Management:
- 1.5⁰C Paris Agreement Management
- Document Control
- Sales interface
- Key participation in mission-critical customer assessments – unrelated to Quality and span across disciplines
Requirements:
- 6-8 Years in Quality Management in Networking hardware
- Bachelor’s Degree – or equivalent
- People management experience
- Contract Manufacturer management experience
- Multi-Tasking and fast-moving environment acceptance
- Presentation skills to customers and management
- Manufacturing Engineering experience is a plus
- Mandarin speaking candidate is a plus
- Able to travel to internationally ~2 times a year for Contract Manufacturer audits
- High energy and "make it happen" spirit
