Manpower is assisting a prestigious client in hiring an experienced Estimator to assist with steel fabrication projects and ensure their successful execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimation and expertise in steel fabrication processes.
This position is direct hire, full-time. Salary is $80k-$120k. Comprehensive benefits package. Paid relocation available!
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform both conceptual and detailed estimating on civil, architectural, and structural portions of projects
- Produce quantitative surveys and accurate pricing for a project
- Coordinate project documents for all delivery methods
- Obtain and present unit pricing data.
- Responsible for outlining clarifications and qualifications within an estimate.
- Provide backup for estimates to be used during analysis and review.
Required skills:
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Proficiency with programs from Microsoft office
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and ability to prioritize organize, and manage time
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Education & Experience:
- Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent Bachelor’s Degree required
- Experience with steel fabrication
- 2+ years minimum experience
