Senior Manager – Oracle EBS Techno/Functional, Custom App development, Cloud Integration
We are seeking an experienced Sr Manager – Solution Delivery to lead our solution delivery team in managing critical systems related to extending Oracle E-Business Suite (R12), building customer application extensions by managing development of Web Applications, Reports, Interfaces and Mobile Applications. The role involves overseeing onshore and offshore IT technical analysts, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication and project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
Responsibilities
Solution Design and Development:
- Collaborate with business analyst team to understand and analyze business requirements.
- Design and architect IT application solutions that align with business objectives and meet technical standards.
- Ensure the development of high-quality software through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices.
- Strive towards operation excellence by timely fixing bugs, resolving code performance issues and continuously improving SDLC of custom extensions and applications.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop onshore and offshore technical teams including architects and developers with various skills.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages professional growth and development.
- Provide technical leadership with attention to details and critical thinking while developing solutions and fixing bugs.
Project Management:
- Manage projects related development using Agile scrum.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reports.
- Drive team to deliver on their tasks related to the project identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact with business application team regarding IT application solutions.
- Communicate project status, risks and issues to IT senior management and business analyst team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross functional IT teams to understand their needs and priorities.
Process Improvement, compliance, and security:
- Continuously evaluate and improve solution delivery processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement industry best practices and innovative technologies to business solutions.
- Ensure all IT application solutions comply with regulatory requirements and organizational security policies.
- Monitor and address security vulnerabilities and risks in application solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including hands-on work with developing web and mobile apps, interfaces and reports and working with ERP applications.
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) or other ERP applications.
- Experience with web and mobile JavaScript and Java development frameworks like Spring Boot, Angular, React, jQuery
- Working experience with cloud native development and PaaS tools from cloud providers like Oracle, AWS, Azure, GCS
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence technology decisions.
