Duties/Responsibilities:
This position supports the mission of the Architecture Division by collaborating with the licensed architect and preparing schematic designs and construction drawings for various projects.
• Receive project requests and draft designs.
• Measure and document existing building conditions.
• Prepare conceptual drawings, construction drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Collaborate with architect and design team to ensure accuracy of design work.
• Ensure design specifications adhere to safety standards and building codes,
• Provide construction administration support including project site visits.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to produce and interpret construction documents.
• Experience developing creative and practical solutions based on evaluation of multiple factors.
• Detail oriented.
• Experience creating simple structural designs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Lumion, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Suite.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
• Zero to three years or more of related experience.
• Previous Internship or working experience with architecture firm preferred.
• Desire and ability to obtain licensure once experience requirements are met.
