A renowned small- to mid-size luxury residential interior design studio seeks a Senior Project Manager to join its thriving and talented team.
Work Schedule: In-office four days a week. Friday WFH
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. No visas.
- 12+ years of professional experience.
- BA Degree in Interior Design or similar.
- Profound knowledge of new home construction and remodeling.
- Intimate eye for details.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Past experience with design consulting and client interaction.
- Knowledge of quality high-end and custom furniture.
- AutoCAD preferred.
- Studio Designer preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Lead high-end interior design projects at all phases, including conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents.
- Oversee and maintain project profitability and schedule adherence.
- Manage communication and collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Prepare budgets, client presentations, and proposals.
- Coordinate and attend client meetings.
- Create floor plans and elevations, preferably using AutoCAD.
- Take full ownership of multiple interior design projects.
- Research, source, and price items such as furniture, fabrics, accessories, finishes, lighting, etc.
- Make materials selections.
- Ensure the accuracy of purchasing activities.
- Manage hourly billing and account balances for clients.
- Manage, delegate to, and mentor junior team members.
