DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage a team of functional and technical analysts, including staffing, performance, scheduling, and capacity planning.
- Direct the IT Finance and Accounting applications team, overseeing strategy, implementation, maintenance, support, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and guide team members in the effective implementation and management of relevant software.
- Oversee system configurations, integrations, workflows, reporting, and analytics within Finance and Accounting.
- Lead cross-functional projects, including change analysis, solution design, and impact assessment on business processes, integrations, and reports.
- Manage service levels, including SLAs, incident and enhancement tickets, and smaller project deliverables.
- Collaborate with development, integration, and testing teams to ensure high-quality solutions and timely project delivery.
- Evaluate quarterly patches, analyze new functionalities, develop test plans, and coordinate with business users to maintain continuity and drive improvement.Engage in M&A activities, understanding impacts on business processes and leading integration efforts with cross-functional teams.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Over 10 years of progressively responsible experience in IT, with a focus on enterprise applications and digital transformation, including 4 years of leadership and management experience in IT projects and teams.
- Expertise in ERP implementations, particularly Oracle EBS Financials, with a track record of successfully leading migrations to cloud-based solutions such as Oracle Fusion.
- Proficient in managing and optimizing SaaS applications within finance environments.
- Demonstrated advisory skills and adept at navigating complex business challenges; consulting experience is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to management and cross-functional teams.Over 10 years of progressively responsible experience in a related field.
- 4 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
- Expertise in implementing and supporting ERP applications, particularly Oracle EBS, and leading digital transformation projects from Oracle EBS to the Cloud in finance.
- Experience managing and utilizing SaaS applications in finance.
- Proven advisory skills and comfort in challenging business requests. Consulting experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly convey concepts to management and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or Information Technology from an accredited institution.
