Background:
- The Combination Product Development (CPD) function provides design and development expertise to enable drug delivery systems for pharmaceuticals.
- This role will support the Human Factors (HF) and Program Management (PM) teams within CPD.
- The Human Factors (HF) group manages the drug delivery device user interface design process and executes usability assessments required to support the successful submission of Combination Products.
- The Program Management group leads the overall device delivery programs, including project intake and resourcing across CPD.
- The combination of an increase in the number of drugs that require a delivery device, the recent addition of medical devices to portfolio, and an increasing engagement in early-stage clinical development drives the need for document management support for the Human Factors and Program Management teams.
- We are looking for a contract individual with copy editing skills and proficiency with Excel and Sharepoint.
Overview of Position:
- This role is intended to support the CPD HF and PM groups.
- The role will need to review and edit HF-related documents including protocols and final reports, manage the process of requesting proposals from vendors, and compile and keep updated shared information repositories.
- The role will also support the project intake and resourcing strategy.
- This individual will work with HF engineers/ third-party firms and project/resource managers
The individual will perform the following functions: Complete forms needed to open HF purchase orders
- Copy edit formative and summative first draft reports
- Maintain sharepoint dashboards and calendars.
- Keep HF calendar with study dates and other relevant HF dates
- Format documents with required documentation headers/footers
- Manage RFP process
- Manage study supplies and related documentation
- Video uploads (either OneVault or NuGenesis)
- Manage organizational project resourcing file
- Interact with functional resource managers to gain alignment on project resourcing demand
- Update and maintain project resourcing dashboard
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- Copy editing and technical report writing experience
- Ability to work with a variety of disciplines and teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device product development is preferred
- Working knowledge with medical devices and medical device regulations and standards is a bonus
