Job Description
As an MEP Superintendent, you will oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of our commercial projects. You will ensure that all MEP systems are installed and commissioned to the highest standards, coordinating closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage and supervise the installation and commissioning of MEP systems on large commercial projects.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work complies with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure timely project delivery.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including daily reports, schedules, and project logs.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Qualification: Must hold a relevant mechanical qualification (e.g., HVAC certification, Mechanical Engineering degree, or similar).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working for a mechanical subcontractor, with a strong background in large commercial projects.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installations.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
