Role: Senior System Administrator
Location: Johnson City, Texas
Office Site: Hybrid - 2 days a week onsite
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30-5:30
Contract: Contract to hire role (after 12 months+)
Rate: $65-68/ hour. Salary conversion to $130,000 with full benefits
NOT Open to C2C or any Visa Transfers
Must be able to pass US Security Clearance
Top 3-5 Technical Skills:
CORE: Windows OS (primary, senior level enterprise), VMWARE, AD, Exchange, Storage, back ups, patch management, some Linux OS exp, some networking knowledge base (familiarity), SolarWinds
- Knowledge of enterprise systems : Microsoft Windows
- Some/light experience on Linux OS is very helpful, since small amount of servers are Linux Red Hat OS. Otherwise, Microsoft Windows OS is primary work.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, SFTP, routing, firewalls, distributed authentication, VPN, telecommunications, particularly in complex LAN and WAN environments
- Knowledge of load balancing integration, design techniques and implementation processes
- Knowledge of enterprise software and systems, E.G., VMWare, Active Directory, LDAP, and MS Exchange
- Knowledge of cloud architectures at the infrastructure deployment and support level
- Patch management, back ups, system administration
- Knowledge of using computers and computer systems, including hardware and software to set up functions, enter data or process information
- Knowledge of modern cybersecurity concepts including defense-in-depth, advanced endpoint threat detection, managed detection and response, and SIEM
