What is the position:
The GIS Analyst Sr. will utilize company's Geographic Information System and tool-set to perform various loading, analysis, and mapping, reporting type activities on several large scale GIS projects.
What will you do:
As a GIS Analyst Sr., you will:
- Manage various GIS projects.
- Construct and modify elements within the geodatabase.
- Assist team members with projects and provide mentorship.
- Utilize GIS software to complete tasks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify GIS data solutions.
- Designs and implement procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
What are the requirements:
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in GIS or related field
- 8+ years of GIS or related experience preferred
- ArcGIS and Esri experience
- Excellent PC and MS Office skills
- Strong understanding of geospatial data management
- Project management experience preferred
- General understanding of pipeline facility regulations and requirements
- Experience with Python or FME (feature manipulation engine) preferred
- Oil & Gas industry experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment
