Program Manager Job Description
NineTwelve is currently seeking an individual to fill a Program Manager position for a hybrid/remote role in the Indianapolis, IN area. Candidate must be eligible for security clearance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor team performance, including schedule and cost management
- Ensure that contract service, quality, and performance requirements are met
- Ensure deliverables are completed and submitted on time and in accordance with contractual requirements
- Help develop proposal and bidding documents for upcoming government contracts
- Proactively provide leadership continual feedback on performance of projects
- Communicate effectively with team of stakeholders and work in a collaborative environment
- Act as liaison between internal team members and external partners and vendors
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Business Administration, Project Management or similar field of study
- At least four years’ experience in project/program management role
- At least four years’ experience in government contracting environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of different types of contracts to include Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Time and Materials (T&M), and more.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- High level of skill in grammatical editing and proofreading
- Must be a motivated team player and able to take initiative
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects
- Must have strong problem solving and decision-making skills, as well as attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently, requiring minimal supervision
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification awarded from the Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred
- Extensive contractual negotiation knowledge to include reviewing government contracts, knowledge of US Government regulations, such as FAR and DFARS, and development of proposals and contracts
- Active security clearance
SECURITY CLEARANCE ELIGIBILITY
- Candidate must be eligible to obtain and hold a security clearance.
- Candidates must:
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Not have been dishonorably discharged from the military.
- Not be currently involved in illegal drug use.
- Not have been judged as mentally incompetent or mentally incapacitated by a mental health professional.
- Not had a clearance revoked for security reasons.
- Not be considered a dual citizen, AND are not currently holding a passport from a country other than the U.S.
COMPENSATION
Pay based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include: company-sponsored health insurance, 401(k), and three weeks PTO for full-time employees.
