This is a Senior Product Manager of Consumables for a growing company in the Medical Device industry.
Job Description:
- Communicate, develop, and execute yearly business plan for consumable products
- Execute and submit accurate forecast for consumable products on monthly and quarterly basis
- Achieves all focus product, gross margins, and revenue objectives established by the consumables business unit
- Meet and exceed customer expectations while considering the fairness and reasonableness to the company
- Ensure customer needs are interpreted and communicated throughout appropriate channels
- Integrates into customer business world via membership of customer group functions and associations
- Fully uncovers and understands customer goals and objectives and effectively match products, technologies, and services to assist in solving customer issues
- Develops sales tools such as product cheat sheets, objection handling guides, and marketing materials to support sales efforts
- Develop new offerings and SKUs for consumables starter kits and bundles
- Streamline customer ordering options and capabilities, including e-commerce and channel partner integrations
- Maintain excellent customer relationships
- Delineate and communicate the strengths and competitive advantages of company services, products, and technologies and how the application of these can assist the customer in meeting objectives
- Communicate, develop, and execute strategic business plans for consumable goods
- Establish routine call patterns for consumable products
- Defines top business activities and priorities, and time to be applied to achieve; works diligently to maintain course on proactive measures and minimize reactive elements
- Define customer expectations of interface with company, allowing consistent planning of meeting the known instead of reacting to the unknown
Job Details:
- $140,000-$150,000 base salary + bonus

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree required, MBA preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of successful consumables product management experience
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of downstream and upstream marketing
- Product roadmap and lifecycle management experience (must have)
- Adept in working with market development managers to create customer-facing materials
- Experience with digital eCommerce solutions and customer-facing website maintenance strongly preferred
- Successful history collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing and commercial objectives
- Demonstrated ability to successfully sell in the infection prevention space
- Experience in infection control and risk management
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate large deals with senior decision makers
- Demonstrated clinical selling and concept selling skills
- Firm understanding of the hospital buying process including the role of National Accounts, GPOs, IDNs, and distributors
- Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements
- Proven history hitting and exceeding sales goals
- Self-starter personality with ability to multi-task and work with ambiguity
