Our Fortune 100 Health Insurance client is hiring a strong React Native Engineer for their mobile platform team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain high quality mobile software focused on reuse and scale.
- Extend and develop framework that accelerates mobile app delivery.
- Develop enterprise mobile coded UI component and pattern libraries.
- Define 3rd party system integration patterns and implement appropriate utilities.
- Develop tools and practices that enable external delivery self-service.
- Comfortable contributing to the React Web software.
- Write clean, secure, efficient, and modular code.
- Act as a subject matter expert and platform evangelist across the enterprise.
Required Experience / Qualifications:
- Expertise with React Native, Context API, React Hooks, and React Navigation, Typescript
- Proficiency with React, and browser based application concerns
- Extensive experience with mobile platforms and reusable frameworks, implementation of native bridges.
- Familiarity with RESTful Application Programming Interfaces to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
- Experience with a few of the following technologies: Nodejs, Java/Kotlin, Objective-C/Swift, Vite/Webpack.
Desired Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Experience with continuous integration.
- Understanding push notifications, cloud messaging application programming interfaces.
- Knowledge of Google’s / Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines.
- 5+ years of proven experience in React Native engineering
- 7+ years of proven React experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
