Job Description:
'-->Develop a Model Based Software for Tractor Transmission using C language, MATLAB and Target link code generator
-->Ability to port the application software on various hardware platforms
-->Ability to work with CAN protocols under J1939 CAN standard.
-->Develop the test harness & Perform the unit testing of software including MIL and SIL testing
-->Work within the Validation teams to make sure the software algorithms are working correctly
-->Resolution of functional changes/issues, change requests
-->Perform development testing on vehicle
-->Support electronic functional testing on test vehicle for Test and Validation Team
--> Previous experience as software engineer for Automotive, Off-highway vehicles
-->Knowledge of vehicle communication and Diagnostics protocols: CAN/LIN/J1939/XCP/UDS
-->Experience with Farm Equipment, Precision Farming systems or connected vehicle systems.
-->Experience in electronic troubleshooting and diagnostics or a related field. Complex mechanical assembly service or troubleshooting acceptable too.
-->Experience with development and execution of test plans.
-->Ability to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills required.
-->Ability to work independently with little supervision.
-->Closed loop control system appreciation and understanding – electro-hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems.
-->Communications protocol experience and understanding (e.g. Serial, CAN, LIN etc).
-->Agricultural, construction, or similar background which demonstrates familiarity with operation of off-highway equipment
