The Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the hotel, ensuring fiscal responsibility, strategic planning, and compliance with industry standards. Job Description:
The Director of Finance will be responsible for:
- Leading the hotel's financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
- Managing the hotel's accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Collaborating with the executive team to develop long-term financial goals and strategies that align with the hotel's mission and objectives.
- Conducting financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including capital expenditure planning, cost management, and revenue optimization.
- Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the finance team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Managing relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to the hotel's leadership team to support business growth and profitability.
- Staying informed of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the hotel's financial performance.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial management within the luxury hotel or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and industry best practices.
- Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, with a strong aptitude for technology and data analysis.
Compensation:
180,000 - 200,000 Plus up to 20% Bonus Potential
