Job Overview
The Senior Superintendent will oversee construction projects within the specified verticals, with project values exceeding $20M. Responsibilities include:
- Leading subcontractors, vendors, and labor to ensure quality and precision in all work activities.
- Managing project schedules, including planning look-ahead schedules and maintaining control over project timelines.
- Reporting any project obstacles or compliance issues directly to the Director or Project Executives.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of on-site activities, subcontract agreements, and budget controls.
- Contributing to project status reports and compiling detailed daily reports for the Project Manager.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Superintendent in projects valued over $20M, encompassing a range of sectors such as multifamily apartments, healthcare, mixed-use, educational, and hospitality.
- Expertise in managing Critical Path project schedules.
- Comprehensive understanding of project documents, blueprints, revisions, and specifications.
- Proficient in general computer skills with a willingness to adopt new technologies for project management and reporting.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- At least 5 years of ground-up new construction experience leading projects $20M+ in the multi-family and commercial sectors.
- Experience in new construction, retrofit, and major renovation projects.
- Candidates should provide a project list detailing their most recent completed or ongoing projects.
